Today, there is a whole host of anti-aging treatments at your disposal, ranging from oral supplements to surgical facelifts. Still, once your body has begun deteriorating internally, it is often difficult to repair the damage that has already been done—even with aggressive treatment.
Still, true to its name, the Rejuran Healer may be just the thing to mend your faults and restore your skin to its former youthful glory.
Known on the market as 婴儿针 (“baby’s needle”), the Rejuran Healer is an injectable skin booster used to regenerate skin cells for healing and rejuvenation. It is made of biological molecules called polynucleotides (PNs), which are the basic units of DNA.

The DNA extract used is taken from salmon, and then purified of any additional proteins and broken down into PNs. Salmon DNA is used as it has been found to have high biocompatibility with human DNA—in other words, it is similar enough to avoid triggering any immune response.
A fine needle is used to inject small amounts of Rejuran Healer into the skin. PNs increase the amount of a signal protein called the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), which stimulates the growth of blood vessels through a process called angiogenesis. In addition, some PNs help the process by salvaging fragments of DNA and RNA from damaged cells and absorbing them into new DNA.
When the PNs come into contact with a type of cells called fibroblasts, they stimulate metabolic activity and encourage the regeneration of collagen. This helps to treat wrinkles, fine lines and scar on the surface of the skin.
Where Rejuran Healer can be used
The Rejuran Healer can be applied on many areas on the body, including:
The main difference between Rejuran Healer and watershine treatments for the skin lies in their intended purpose. Rejuran aims to repair skin damage while watershine aims to restore hydration of skin.
Watershine/Skin boosters uses hyaluronic acid (HA) to moisturise and brighten the skin for a healthier, more youthful appearance. On the other hand, Rejuran is to stimulate collagen production.
Both men and woman may undergo the treatment. It is especially recommended for those whose skin is damaged as a result of aging, sun exposure or acne. Besides its use as a healing treatment, it is also recommended as a preventive measure for younger patients (beginning from their mid-20s) to delay the onset of aging.
First, numbing cream is applied. Rejuran is then administered to the skin, using either an injector device or through manual injection with a fine needle. The procedure takes about 10 minutes.
Due to the high degree of biocompatibility present in salmon DNA, you should not experience any side effects relating to the Rejuran Healer itself. However, you may experience mild swelling or bruising at the injection site, but this is temporary and will resolve itself within 1 day.
The procedure requires little to no downtime, and you will be able to resume your daily activities on the next day.
To achieve the best results, it is recommended that you attend 3 sessions (spaced 3–4 weeks apart) as part of your initial course of treatment. Thereafter, maintenance may be performed through follow-up sessions every 6–12 months, to encourage long-lasting effects.
As it takes time for Rejuran Healer to stimulate collagen production and repair underlying damage, you should be able to feel a difference within 2 weeks. Please note that results may vary among individuals.
To complement the effects of the Rejuran, you may combine it with watershine skinbooster, meaning Rejuran + Hyaluronic acid. This combination can enable you to enjoy healthier, hydrated and rejuvenated skin—all in one go. Contact Kowayo Aesthetic Clinic Singapore for a consultation for Rejuran Singapore treatment
