The DNA extract used is taken from salmon, and then purified of any additional proteins and broken down into PNs. Salmon DNA is used as it has been found to have high biocompatibility with human DNA—in other words, it is similar enough to avoid triggering any immune response.

How Rejuran Healer works

A fine needle is used to inject small amounts of Rejuran Healer into the skin. PNs increase the amount of a signal protein called the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), which stimulates the growth of blood vessels through a process called angiogenesis. In addition, some PNs help the process by salvaging fragments of DNA and RNA from damaged cells and absorbing them into new DNA.

When the PNs come into contact with a type of cells called fibroblasts, they stimulate metabolic activity and encourage the regeneration of collagen. This helps to treat wrinkles, fine lines and scar on the surface of the skin.

What can I expect from the Rejuran Healer treatment?

During the procedure

First, numbing cream is applied. Rejuran is then administered to the skin, using either an injector device or through manual injection with a fine needle. The procedure takes about 10 minutes.

Side effects

Due to the high degree of biocompatibility present in salmon DNA, you should not experience any side effects relating to the Rejuran Healer itself. However, you may experience mild swelling or bruising at the injection site, but this is temporary and will resolve itself within 1 day.

After the procedure

The procedure requires little to no downtime, and you will be able to resume your daily activities on the next day.

To achieve the best results, it is recommended that you attend 3 sessions (spaced 3–4 weeks apart) as part of your initial course of treatment. Thereafter, maintenance may be performed through follow-up sessions every 6–12 months, to encourage long-lasting effects.

Results
